This basilica in St. Louis is one of the largest mosaic collections in the world, covering 83,000 square feet!! All the mosaic is either marble or gold depictions of various meanings and stories from the Bible. I was truly amazed at all the different colors and patterns throughout the basilica. I would have been a happy camper if we could have roamed this gem of St. Louis the whole day. I can't wait to go back.
