Today's Exploration: Romana Riley Elementary School

Currently, on sale in Savannah is the Romana Riley Elementary School, a 1920s-era school building, that has been deteriorating in 1990 when the school closed because of poor conditions.  Since then, the school was being used as an alternative education center for designated felons.  Now, it stands completely empty.  Today I had the privilege of tagging along with Julia's class as they had the opportunity of exploring this gem.  Much of it has been left exactly as it was twenty years ago.  Chalkboards are filled, desks are scattered, wallpaper is pealing, and inspirational educational posters are still hanging.  It is amazing.
